The BioLift® Facial is an exclusive treatment to Rejuv Medical. It is a non-surgical facelift, to take years off the skin, and improve overall skin health. Combining the Collagen Inducing effect from a Dermapen treatment with regenerating PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma), your skin becomes healthy and vibrant again, by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen production and healing processes. The advantages of combining the two are faster healing, more collagen production, and better overall tightening and rebuilding of the skin structure. This treatment is best for those with aging skin that has defined lines and wrinkles, pigmentation, sun damage, and enlarged pores. This treatment can also be performed on those who wish to prevent the aging process from progressing in the skin. PRP facial injections can also be done in combination to act as a ‘filler’ and promote even more collagen production in the areas where volume has been lost.
Understanding the Rejuv Medical exclusive BioLift procedure:
An exclusive medical based procedure that utilizes the body’s ability to regenerate its own tissue to soften fine lines, wrinkles, and scarring. This is done with a combination of PRP and Dermapen stamping.
After the patient has their blood draw and PRP is processed by the lab, the patient meets with an Aesthetician for a Dermapen procedure. The Dermapen procedure utilizes a device that creates 1300 micro-channels per second in the patient’s skin, effectively stimulating a wound healing response. When the skin is forced into a wound healing response, new, healthy cells are produced, improving the overall conditions and health of the skin. During the Dermapen procedure, the patient has their own PRP stamped into their skin through the micro-channels. The advantage to this is faster healing time and better tissue production. Following the stamping, the patient will meet with a Provider, who will then inject additional PRP into areas of lost volume, to fill lines, or all over the face to rejuvenate all areas. By injecting the PRP in to the dermis, it creates additional cell regeneration, smoothing the lines. This PRP injection can be incorporated with Radiesse or Juvederm as a filler, which can further enhance the results, and fill in more severe areas of lost volume such as nasal labial folds (laugh lines), or hollow cheeks.
This procedure offers maximum results, with minimal downtime. Downtime for this procedure is typically 24-48 hours, with the normal side effects being redness, swelling, and possibly some pinpoint bleeding from the Dermapen. The areas where the filler (whether it be PRP alone, or PRP mixed with filler), does usually bruise. The bruising lasts from 5-7 days, but can be covered with a mineral based makeup 24 hours post treatment.
Results will continue to develop for 6 months post procedure, as the body is regenerating new cells, and producing collagen and elastin fibers for tightening and smoothing. For best results, incorporating professional products, and following up with recommended treatments is required.
The best candidate for this procedure is someone who is beginning to show signs of aging, has moderate signs of aging, or would like to prevent lines and wrinkles from forming. This also helps to smooth rough texture, reduce pore size, even skin tone, and can give a slight lift to the skin. Results are enhanced and maximized with the correct application of recommended professional treatment products.
This same procedure can be done on the scalp for someone who is struggling with thinning hair, to regenerate and support the health of the follicles, thereby increasing hair growth.
Dermapen skin needling process: Create a small wound and the skin will respond with collagen production and new skin cells. Depending on the depth of the needle penetration, the DermaPen can offer skin rejuvenation levels from the simple enhancement of product absorption to the clinical treatment of scars and wrinkles.
Uses of the Dermapen Procedure:
- Lip Wrinkles
- Skin Texture / Tone
- Pore Appearance
- Increase Product Absorbtion
- Superficial Facial Wrinkles
- Skin Texture on the Neck
- Acne Scarring / Trauma
- Melasma & Pigmentation
- Textural Improvements
- Stretch Marks
- Treatment on the face is the primary location, but skin needling can successfully be used on any area of the body
- As well as – PRP Hair Restoration (60 minute service) and PRP Skin Rejuvenation (75 minute service if pre-numbing)
Superficial treatment levels are very tolerable with nothing more than topical numbing product (the lightest application requires no numbing at all) applied prior to the treatment. Typical downtime is around 3 days, with redness and swelling that my be present during that time.
