Prolotherapy

Prolotherapy is a safe, non-surgical treatment for chronic pain, injury and arthritis. Prolotherapy targets the joint, ligaments and tendons that are weakened and stretched out from injury or aging and actually promotes healing and repair. This stimulation of the body’s healing mechanism helps to restore strength and integrity to the damaged area. The procedure involves injecting a solution into the damaged joint, ligament or tendon.  This stimulates the body to begin the healing process by sounding the alarm, which alerts the body to send platelets and other natural growth factors to the area being treated.

Trigger Point Injections

A trigger point is an irritable, painful, taut muscle band or palpable knot in a muscle that can cause localized pain or referred pain.  Referred pain from trigger points can mimic pinched nerves in the neck or lower back.  They can occur from direct muscle injuries, poor posture, repetitive strain or secondarily from spine conditions such as a herniated disc. The basis for a trigger point injection is to relax the area of an intense muscle spasm.  By relaxing the muscle spasm, blood flow to the area is improved, thus allowing the washout of irritating metabolites.

PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma)

PRP injections are used for the repair of chronic degenerative joints, ligaments and tendon injuries. This new technology is changing the way doctors and sports physicians treat injury, pain and aging.  Conditions treated include: chronic overuse injuries to the ankles, knee and shoulders; arthritic joints; chronic back and spine arthritis and pain; degenerative disc disease. PRP is blood plasma with concentrated platelets. The concentrated platelets found in PRP contain huge reservoirs of bioactive proteins, including growth factors that are vital to initiate and accelerate tissue repair and regeneration.

Nerve Therapy

Nerve injections are a minimally invasive way to treat pinched or restricted nerves. The injection helps to reduce inflammation and allows the nerve to heal properly. As a result, patients typically experience a significant reduction in pain and numbness. Injections can also help to end chronic pain by interrupting the pain signals that are sent to the brain. If you suffer from chronic pain, nerve injections may be the solution you’ve been searching for.

Stem Cell Therapy

Stem Cell Therapy is the power-cell behind the regeneration of tissue and uses your body’s own stem cells as a building block in an attempt to mimic other damaged cells located in the joint. Stem cells are pulled gently from the bone marrow of the hip. These mesenchymal stem cells are the purest form of stem cells in your body’s natural reserve.

Joint Lubrication

When the cartilage in our joints begins to wear down, it can be extremely painful. Even simple movements become difficult, and everyday tasks can become impossible. Joint injections can help to alleviate this pain by increasing joint lubrication and reducing friction. The injected medication helps to restore the smooth, cushioning surface of the joint, making movement easier and more comfortable. For many people, joint injections are a life-changing treatment that helps them to regain their independence and enjoy their life once again.

IV Therapy

When we think of nutrients, we typically think of the food we eat and the vitamins and minerals that are essential to our health. However, not all nutrients are created equal. The body can only absorb and use a certain amount of nutrients from food, and the rest is simply excreted. This is where IV therapy comes in. IV therapy delivers nutrients directly to the bloodstream, bypassing the digestive system entirely. As a result, IV therapy can provide a much-needed boost of energy, help to fight off infection, and promote tissue repair.

Success Stories

The care I am receiving at Rejuv Medical is life-changing…they look at healing the whole body. I have had chronic neck pain & migraine headaches for 20 years. My body is producing new tissue as a result of the PRP treatments I am receiving and I am regaining strength from the physical therapy exercises. The next phase will be looking at how my internal systems (adrenals, hormones) are working. I truly feel like I am getting my life back again. ——– I hope you’re all doing well at Rejuv.  Just wanted to send you a quick update-I am continuing to do great!  I don’t have neck pain and I am able to do so many things without getting a headache-it’s amazing-the PRP has truly changed my life! I had a 6 month follow-up appointment last week with the neurologist I’ve been seeing for 11 years for headaches and I am doing so well I don’t have to go back for a year.

Not only does it work- I expected it to work to some degree, but it’s amazing! The Supartz shot into my knee has totally stopped it from popping. Hasn’t happened once since the shot. It has been happening half a dozen times a day. And painfully. Now, no pain! An ache, but dull, where I received the shot. I’m sooooo happy!! Thank-you
