Todd  joined the Rejuv Medical Team in February 2008.  Born and raised in Liberty, Indiana, Todd started his career at Richmond Senior High School in Richmond, Indiana.  After three seasons of Indiana basketball he left for the East side of Cleveland to the Ashtabula County Medical Center in Northeast Ohio in 1987.  Todd worked there for 15 years and was a part of the transition to the organization becoming a part of the Cleveland Clinic Health Care System.  He advanced as a Certified Athletic Trainer to becoming the Coordinator of Sports Medicine and eventually the Director of Rehabilitation Services.  He worked numerous Ohio football games before moving to Minnesota to see some hockey and work at the Abbott Northwestern outpatient clinic in Sartell in 2003.  There he teamed up with Dr. Baumgartner and they have worked together happily ever after.

Something no one knows about you: 

Given first name is Brian and middle name is Todd.  Older sister like the name Todd better and told all the family friends that mom and dad wanted the baby to be called Todd.

Your Education Level & Certifications: 

Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC), Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training and Health Education.

Why do you like your job? 

I enjoy interacting with patients and staff and helping to solve issues with them.

Besides working at Rejuv Medical,
Some of Todd’s other passions include:

sailing and power boating on Minnesota lakes when not tending to the miniature goats and other pets at home.

When I was young I wanted to be:

a fireman or cowboy before learning about the world of sports medicine.  Then the career goals began in earnest.

Your inspiration: 

Since I did not inherit a very strong gene pool for athleticism, but a love for athletics, I found that working as a Certified Athletic Trainer allowed me to be up close and personal to the world of athletics despite my lack of motor skills.
