High Cholesterol

Hello, I’m Joel Baumgartner, M.D. from Rejuv Medical. High Cholesterol: High Cholesterol is caused by the body producing too much cholesterol or by you ingesting too many fats and high cholesterol foods. At Rejuv Medical’s Weight Loss and Performance Center, we will get you the proper nutrition and education you need to get your cholesterol down. Often there are other diagnoses like hormone imbalances, or low testosterone, which can lead to a higher cholesterol reading. We also deal with those issues as well, so we are balancing all the right modalities and things to get your cholesterol down and to decrease your risk of chronic disease, including stroke and heart attack.
