Depression

Depression: I am Joel Baumgartner, M.D. from Rejuv Medical. What really is Depression? Depression usually is just a lack of energy, being apathetic, having no zest for life, losing the interest for the things you used to love to do, right? Well Depression is not a diagnosis you can just through a medication at and cure it. Depression is something you cure from the inside. From the way you look at yourself, from the way you look at life. The best way to change your low energy, your depression, and your low self-esteem, is to get you feeling better about yourself, making you look better, helping you to lose that weight. There are also some things we can look at medically to check that depression, whether it’s low Vitamin D levels, Thyroid problems, low testosterone levels, or an imbalance of hormones. We will really try and get you off any medications that have been given for depression, get to the source of your low energy, and actually try to repair those endocrinologic problems that are occurring.
