Rejuvenating Skin Peels

Our Rejuvenating Skin Peel service is geared to address fine lines, wrinkles, irregular texture and/or sun damage.

A Skin Peel is a process using one or a combination of various acids to exfoliate the outer most cellular layer of the skin.

Rejuvenating peels may or may not have “down-time” depending on your lifestyle, your skin type and what your skin goals are.

This treatment may require a series of treatments depending on which skin peel you choose to do, either progressive or more aggressive.

There are various levels of Rejuvenating Chemical Peels:

Progressive Peels: This treatment often does not cause any visible flaking or peeling (exfoliating). These are best when done in a series of 3-6 and should be performed 2-4 weeks apart. A peel of this nature is great for the individual that does not have time in their schedule or lifestyle for any “down” time.

Mid-Depth Peels: These peels have slight visible flaking and/or peeling (exfoliating) with very little down time. The peeling is more like a light flaking similar to sunburn peeling. Do these peels monthly until the desired result is achieved, then continue on with a maintenance program by doing these peels every 3-4 months.

Deep Peels: With a deep peel the skin undergoes considerable peeling some 3-4 days post procedure, with flaking and peeling lasting 7-10 days. There is some down time as the skin that is treated darkens and peels in large segments as opposed to flaking. Do not do more than 3-4 of these kinds of peels per year.
