Micro-Dermabrasion

Micro-Dermabrasion is a physical form of exfoliating the skin.

The Micro-Dermabrasion treatment uses a diamond cut hand piece that gently exfoliates. Like Rejuvenating Peels this treatment also addresses fine lines, irregular texture and irregular surface color. It does not have “down-time” unless an acid or combinations of acids are incorporated in the treatment.  A series of 3 to 6 Micro-Dermabrasion treatments may be needed to achieve your desired result. Micro-Dermabrasion is painless yet effective and controlled.

What is Skin Resurfacing?

Resurfacing using a DiamondTome^TM Wand is similar to particle microdermabrasion and chemical peels in its results but without the adverse affects of loose particles, irritation and skin reaction. Unlike other exfoliation treatments, the DiamondTome^TM Skin Resurfacing System uses no loose abrasives to contaminate you or the environment.

How will I look after the treatment?

Your skin may look slightly flushed immediately after the treatment but should return to normal in 10 to 30 minutes. Your skin will look and feel smoother even after the first treatment and will continue to improve with additional treatments.
